| Sniffer was going through random packets from Swindon, a town famous in England for being where Intel is based - when a dreadful series of images appeared... who is this man, and what can he be doing? | ||

The University of Bath, believe it or not, appears to be in Swindon, more than 50 miles away. Anyway, it would appear that they have a display of antique personal computers. We have packets here displaying an old Dragon computer, an Atari 400, a Sinclair QL completely with "microdrive" and even a Toshiba-built MSX "games" computer from the early 1980s. Most of the machines are simply a way for avid collector Simon Webb to clear out two rooms of his house and re-install his family there. Nonetheless, they make a fascinating collection, of the early history of personal computing, and about the only really important pioneering machine they don't have is the Commodore Pet. If you have a Pet which needs a home - or even more desired, a Jupiter Ace (a Forth-based machine) then contact Simon Web through NewsWireless.net. And in the mean time, the mystery of this guy, cutting the Blue Ribbon and declaring the Museum open, must remain a mystery. It certainly can't be The Boss, can it...? Comments? Feedback?
