A Sniffer?

The latest news story shows a Tungsten with a keyboard on top, rather than under, the sliding cover - the sliding cover which normally conceals the Graffiti handwriting entry area.

At least, that's what everybody agrees it shows.

At Gizmodo, Peter Rojas has denounced it (quite correctly) as a Photoshop image. At PalmOne City, the debate reports that this image has been all around the web and one contributor said it had been seen at ClieSource.com - a site for Sony Palm-based Clie hand-helds.

It's a lovely idea, but while it is (clearly) a fake, what is rather surprising, is the fact that everybody thinks it looks nicer than any existing Palm handheld. In fact, it looks to us almost as if it were a Tungsten W phone variant...
