We sent The Boss to Cannes. He's still seething. Apparently, he's going to write something about his experiences of trying to get online there; meanwhile, it turns out he's been ranting Elsewhere...

His column on eWeek.com suggests that there's more to Cannes than topless sunbathers. Even, more to Cannes than topless female sunbathers. Actually, he says, there were none of those, anyway - too cold.

"It has been an industry-standard joke for as long as I've known the 3GSM Congress in Cannes that you can get every phone in the world there, but you can't make a call."
